…a sound healing ceremonialist and musical artist whose unique offering combines ancient wisdom with present moment healing practices. She pulls from her East Indian cultural roots to create relaxing sonic environments that facilitate deep healing and restoration. She enjoys immersing music loving souls in sounds radiating from quartz crystal bowls tuned to energy centers within the body, bamboo chimes, ocean drums and even vedic mantra emanating from deep within her soulful being.
Her experience in facilitation of wellness offerings comes rooted in knowledge and practice. She holds certifications in sound healing therapy from the SoundEmbrace Institute, QiGong practice from the Supreme Science QiGong Center, and initiation into the Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya program at Sadhguru's Isha Institute for Inner Sciences.
As the frontwoman of the critically acclaimed, Billboard-charting band "Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics," she brings nearly two decades of professional music artistry to her healing practice based in Atlanta. Ruby invites individuals and communities to come together, release what isn’t serving them and remember how to breathe again.
Billboard charting artist, Ruby Velle was born in Canada, raised in the Gainesville, FL, and has been making a name for herself in the Atlanta, GA scene as a cultural alchemist expressing matters of the soul. Her singles have been shared as both iTunes and Starbucks "Pick of the Week" tracks.
As a frontwoman to a band, “Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics,” she has shaped the hearts and minds of the public in a positive way as her words of empowerment ring out loud and clear.
During her pregnancy she journeyed into sound and it’s ability to calm our nerves collectively. Shortly after her daughter reached preschool, Ruby and her husband Alex founded SoulFam Clubhouse - a space for music and wellness offerings in Decatur, GA.
Ruby has performed alongside some legendary musicians such as Corey Glover, Bernard Purdie, Lee Fields, Gary Clark Jr., Fred Wesley, and Binky Griptite.
